Breathing exercises are a quick and easy way to relax. You have probably noticed that your breathing can change the way you feel. When we're stressed or worried, usually we breathe more quickly and shallowly, and this makes our heart beat faster and can contribute to anxiety and panic attacks.
You could try using breathing exercises in situations when you next feel anxious about something. Maybe it'll be before a job interview, or just before a date or presentation at work.
