Dr Naomi Hackworth BSc, BA(Hons), DPsych (Health Psychology)
Dr Hackworth is a research psychologist. Her major research interests are in the area of chronic illness (in particular the psychosocial and behavioural implications of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes), health service evaluation, parenting and developmental psychology. Dr Hackworth also works as a school psychologist working with children and young adolescents with disabilities and their parents.

Prof. Susan Moore BSc(Hons), MEd (Melb), PhD (Florida State)
Professor Susan Moore is a research psychologist with research interests in adolescence, sexuality and coping with illness, family stress and illness, health promotion and attitude change (particularly in HIV/AIDS area), and women's health. She has published over 100 refereed journal articles, four books and several book chapters.

Victoria Hamilton
Victoria Hamilton is currently completing a PhD within the Psychology discipline at Swinburne University of Technology, exploring cognitive and emotive factors in decisions relating to bowel cancer screening. She has tutored and worked as a research assistant within the psychology disciplines at Swinburne University and The University of London. Her research interests include psychological factors in chronic health, and the impact of anxiety on cognitive performance. Victoria was Co-editor of The Skeptic quarterly magazine, UK.

Assoc. Prof. Fergus Cameron BMedSci, MBBS, DipRACOG, FRACP, MD.
Associate Professor Cameron is the Deputy Director of The Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes, Director of the Healthy Bones Unit and the Head of Diabetes Services at The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. He has published widely in the medical and lay literature about matters regarding endocrine and diabetes management. He has given many invited plenary lectures at international and national meetings, and is a participant in the Hvidoere Study Group on Childhood Diabetes and on th International Consensus Meeting on The Use of Insulin Pumps in the Pediatric Age Group. He is also the Editor for Australasia/Asia for the Journal of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Assoc. Prof. Elisabeth Northam B.A., M.A., Ph.D.
Associate Professor (Adjunct) Northam is the convener of the Master of Psychology (Clinical Child Specialisation)/PhD program in the School of Behavioural Science in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne. She is also Coordinator of the Academic and Research Program, Department of Psychology at the Royal Children's Hospital and a Senior Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. Assoc. Prof. Northam has published widely in the area the neuropsychological and psychosocial functioning of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes.
