Reality check is a website for young people with diabetes. You can find a lot of articles and stories on diabetes at this website, as well as a forum for chatting with other young people with diabetes (but ask your parents first if you can take part).

This is a website with a range of information for kids and teens with diabetes, and also their parents and carers. You can find advice here on lots of aspects of living with diabetes, as well as a diabetes dictionary, and multicultural resources.

The JDRF is the world's largest charitable supporter of type 1 diabetes research, working toward the search for a cure for type 1 diabetes.
National Diabetes Services Scheme
This is a scheme provided by the Australian government and administered by Diabetes Australia which aims to deliver diabetes-related products at subsidised prices for people with diabetes. It is free to register with the NDSS if you have been diagnosed with diabetes.
HypoActive
Hypoactive aims to promote healthy active lifestyles for people living with type 1 diabetes. They provide information on how to avoid hypos and hypers during and after exercise, and offer a number of events that offer those with diabetes an opportunity to be active in a healthy and supportive environment with diabetics.
